ERR_LOW_CAFFEINE. System rebooting.
If you are reading this, you are likely holding a cup of overpriced, lukewarm disappointment from a green-logoed conglomerate. You paid $7.00. You waited in a line that defied the laws of physics. You misspelled your own name for the barista.

The Hardware Upgrade: Minimal Gear, Maximum Results
You do not need a $3,000 chrome-plated Italian espresso machine that requires a PhD to operate. You need the basics.
1. The Grinder (The Heart of the System) A blade grinder is a crime against humanity. It hacks beans into uneven chunks. Some are dust; some are boulders. This leads to uneven extraction. Status: ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT. Upgrade to a Burr Grinder. It crushes beans to a uniform size. Consistent grind = Consistent flavor.
2. The Scale Eyeballing it is for amateurs. Use a digital scale. Direct suggestion: Measure in grams. Aim for a 1:16 ratio. That is 1 gram of coffee for every 16 grams of water.
3. The Kettle Precision matters. A gooseneck kettle allows you to control the flow. If you don't have one, just pour slowly. Don't use boiling water. 212°F is too hot. Let it sit for 30 seconds after it boils. 195°F–205°F is the sweet spot.

Check out our Breakfast Blend for a smooth start to your hardware testing.
The Software: Why Fresh Beans are Non-Negotiable
The "Best By" date on grocery store coffee is a lie. Coffee peaks within 14 days of roasting. Grocery store coffee has been sitting in a warehouse since the last leap year.
PROTOCOL: On-Demand Roasting. At Avspresso Roasters, we don't have "stock." We have beans and we have heat. When you click "Buy," we start the fire. This ensures you get maximum flavor, maximum aroma, and zero stale bitterness.
- Single Origin: For the purists. Try the Ethiopia Natural.
- Blends: For balance. Our 6 Bean Blend is a crowd favorite.
- Flavored: For the adventurous. French Vanilla without the chemical aftertaste.

Decoding the Method: Choose Your Character

The French Press (The Tank)
The most forgiving method.
- Add coarse grounds.
- Add hot water.
- Wait 4 minutes.
- Press. It’s full-bodied. It’s heavy. It’s reliable. Troubleshooting: If it’s too sandy, your grind is too fine. Adjust your settings.
The Pour-Over (The Artist)
Requires a bit more finesse. Use a V60 or Chemex.
- Wet the filter.
- Add medium-fine grounds.
- THE BLOOM: Pour just enough water to wet the grounds. Wait 30 seconds. Watch the bubbles. That is CO2 escaping. CO2 is the enemy of flavor.
- Pour in slow, concentric circles. Result: A clean, bright cup that highlights the notes of the bean.
The Cold Brew (The Patient One)
For those who like it smooth and icy.
- Coarse grounds + cold water.
- Wait 12–24 hours.
- Filter. Check out our dedicated Cold Brew Coffee. Low acidity. High caffeine.

Pro-Tips for the Aspiring Home Barista
- Preheat Everything: Pour hot water into your mug and brewer before you start. Cold ceramics steal heat. Heat is life.
- Store Properly: Keep your beans in a cool, dark place. Do not put them in the freezer. The freezer is for peas and disappointment.
- Clean Your Gear: Old coffee oils turn rancid. If your coffee tastes like a burnt tire, wash your pot.
- Try Disabling Your Extensions: If your taste buds are malfunctioning, try a Peru Decaf. Sometimes a system reset is necessary.
